As part of our contract-based network, project managers retain full control over their availability, project selection, and business direction. Whether you’re supplementing full-time employment or growing your own consulting business, Kanna Laurent provides the structure, connections, and support to help you succeed.

Project work can be on-site, hybrid, or fully remote, depending on the client’s requirements and your availability. We encourage project managers to take on work that best aligns with their lifestyle, skills, and interests.

As independent professionals, PMs in our network are expected to:

• Operate as independent contractors, not employees

• Maintain valid professional liability insurance

• Hold active Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) coverage, where applicable

• Manage their own taxes, invoicing, and legal compliance

• Provide their own hardware (laptops, phones, etc.) and software tools necessary to perform their duties professionally

• Maintain accurate documentation of hours, deliverables, and communications

• Consistently demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong client communication​

In return, Kanna Laurent offers:

To maintain the integrity of our network, PMs who fail to meet agreed-upon expectations, do not maintain compliance, or violate professional standards may be removed from the network.
